An award-winning Las Vegas student robotics team will get City Council recognition June 17, when Ward 3 Councilwoman Olivia Diaz honors the Innovations International Charter School Robotics Team at City Hall. The council also plans to recognize the city’s June 2026 Employee of the Month.

The recognition is scheduled for the Wednesday, June 17, 2026, Las Vegas City Council meeting. The council meeting will begin after the 8:30 a.m. Redevelopment Agency meeting.

Ward 3 Councilwoman Olivia Diaz will honor the Innovations International Charter School Robotics Team. The team placed second in a statewide competition, won first place for robot design and was one of 90 teams worldwide invited to the Western Edge Open Invitational, which included teams from more than 30 countries. The city will also recognize its June 2026 Employee of the Month during the meeting.
